UN Report: World Will Overshoot 1.5°C and Is Heading for 2.8°C on Current Policies
The UN Environment Programme says the world can no longer avoid overshooting the 1.5°C warming limit and is heading for about 2.8°C on current policies, with a jump in US emissions and America’s Paris Agreement exit making the outlook worse.
