Two-wheeler offers
Two-wheeler makers such as Hero MotoCorp, Honda, TVS and Bajaj also run festive schemes, usually in the form of cash discounts, exchange bonuses, low down payments, special finance rates and free accessories or insurance. Offers change by city and dealer, so compare at least two showrooms. Popular festive picks include the Hero Splendor Plus, Honda Activa, TVS Raider 125, Bajaj Pulsar N160, Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and electric scooters like the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak.
How to get the best Diwali vehicle deal
- Ask for an itemised quote: separate cash discount, exchange bonus, corporate offer, accessories and insurance so you can compare like for like.
- Check the on-road price, not just the discount: some dealers inflate insurance or "handling charges". You can buy insurance separately.
- Exchange your old vehicle smartly: get a separate quote from a used-car buyer before accepting the dealer's exchange value.
- Compare financing: check your own bank's car loan rate against dealer finance; a low "festive" rate can come with processing fees.
- Consider year-end timing: discounts on 2026 manufactured stock often grow in December, but next year's model-year will lower resale value slightly.
- Inspect before delivery (PDI): check the VIN for the manufacturing month, look for scratches and test all features before you sign.
- Get everything in writing: confirm the delivery date and all promised benefits on the booking form.
Buying on Dhanteras
Dhanteras is one of the busiest delivery days of the year. Dealers often stay open late and schedule deliveries in slots. Complete payment, loan approval and registration paperwork a few days earlier so the delivery isn't delayed. Read more in our Dhanteras 2026 guide.
