Where to watch
All six editions stream on JioHotstar and air on the JioStar network's regional entertainment channels. The shows are produced by Banijay Asia and EndemolShine India.
Big business
- More than 95 sponsors across editions, from jewellery and cars to fintech and food brands.
- In the South Indian markets, more than half of advertisers are new to the show. About 30% of spending there comes from local brands.
- In the Hindi edition, about 70% of advertisers are working with the show for the first time.
Why Bigg Boss still works
Based on the international Big Brother format, Bigg Boss puts celebrities and ordinary people in a house full of cameras for about 100 days, cut off from the outside world. Weekly evictions, tasks and the host's weekend episodes keep viewers hooked, and the six 2026 editions are now in their second month.
Malayalam host Mohanlal is profiled in Legends of Indian Cinema: Mohanlal.
